Training Events
SWIB holds occasional training events which are open to both members and non-members. Past events have covered subjects such as:
- hiring your first employee
- growing your business

The next event is on July 22 and will consider how we can build our presence online. It will be held at Cornerstone's offices at Kirkhaven Business Centre, 120 Sydney Street, Glasgow G31 1JF, from 5-7pm. Tea, coffee and biscuits will be provided. Our speakers are:

- Jill Ledgerwood, Fuzzylime: "Improving your website" - simple improvements that will help your search engine optimisation without costing a fortune
- Jill MacRae, Blether Media: "Facebook & Twitter" - how they can be good for business and how to get started
Training events cost £10 for members and £15 for non-members.
