Federation of Small Businesses - The FSB is a campaigning pressure group promoting and protecting the interests of the self-employed and owners of small firms. It was formed in 1974, and offers a range of products and services aimed at saving money for members and providing practical help with all aspects of running a smaller business.

Forum of Private Business - The Forum of Private Business (FPB) was established in 1977, and represents 25,000 UK-based private businesses, which in turn employ more than 600,000 people. FPB is funded by its members, and like the FSB offers a range of products and services aimed at saving money for members and providing practical help with all aspects of running a smaller business.

Business Gateway - the Scottish organisation helping businesses start, grow and flourish.

Business Link - the English equivalent of Business Gateway, the Business Link site has a huge amount of material, guides and Generally Useful Stuff for businesses.

everywomanprovides resources and support services for women in business. Its website has useful articles and discussion groups, and they run conferences in different locations around the UK.

WEConnect - is a diversity initiative which aims to connect women-owned businesses across the UK with multi-national corporations. WEConnect encourage multinational corporations to subscribe, and to contract with women-owned businesses as part of their supply chain.
