Can entrepreneurialism be taught or is it instinctive? How much does positive mental attitude help and can you really programme yourself to achieve?

Our speaker Audrey Miller brought a unique perspective on these questions, combining her educational role as Assistant Principal of Stow College and her own business expertise as a Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) Trainer.

In keeping with requests from members, the event also featured a "table swap" between courses.

Annual General Meeting
The event was preceded by swib's AGM, which reflected on the highlights and progress over the past year, confirmed the new members of committee (and thanked those stepping down), and saw the handover from Mairi Morrison to Morag Malloy as President.

Really enjoyed the event, was made to feel very welcome as a visitor by all members I came across. Warm and professional atmosphere which I really liked
A very enjoyable evening. There was plenty of opportunity at the beginning to mingle & the table swapping was a great success. Our speaker was engaging and entertaining as well as being interesting and her talk provided good food for discussion at our table.
The venue and food were outstanding. SWIB is always very good at making sure the timings are observed and the event doesn't overrun.
great venue and excellent food. Enjoyed the table swap and an interesting speaker. Good to hear from our charity of the year and proud to see how much we raised.
Excellent all round and thank you one and all. Wonderful to have Emma's dad to speak - what an inspiring and lovely man.
