At swib, we love big ideas. As the longest running club of our kind in Scotland, our success depends on the creative, energetic and highly competent people we are proud to call our members and friends.

That is why, as we are thinking ahead about the future of women's networking our first thought was to get our heads together: long-term members, new members and non-members alike.

This workshop-style event proved to be an excellent way to network, make friends and get to know each other better, all while giving people a chance to make a difference to swib.

Comments from those who attended included:

I liked the format and also thought the venue was great

A fun lively evening, especially when everyone participated with enthusiasm. The smaller tables helped with speedy introductions so that we could get on with the questions posed. Love the Little Book of SWIBdom. So many ideas were generated for future plans.

It was a really great way of meeting people and chatting at the table, the food was AMAZING, timing was good albeit I couldn't stay long, really interesting

Thought it was good to look at what people want from SWIB. Some more of these in the future would be good.

enjoyed the opportunity to join in discussion on future networking at SWIB. Lots of good ideas and Shona did an excellent job of facilitating.

The venue was perfect for the type of event (workshop-style). The food was excellent. The workshop content was well presented and, hopefully, has given a steer for SWIB's future.

It was great to have an event based on participation where you left feeling you had made a valuable contribution. Being involved in the direction SWIB is going is very important to members, perhaps more than you realise.

Interesting, would be nice to do this with a range of topics.

As ever, all feedback will be considered by the committee to inform future events.
