The Clutha Bar, Glasgow

November 23, 2:30pm-4:30pm

Following on from our last city walk (15 months ago) discovering the beautiful murals and artworks on what were rather bland walls, we will conduct the second part of this walk to find some more of them! It really doesn't matter if you didn't make the first one!

We'll meet outside the Clutha Bar (some very fine murals here) and then have a leisurely stroll through the city, taking in some of the very best murals Glasgow has to offer. We'll give you a little bit of the background and some local history as we go.

We'll be out whatever the weather so keep an eye on the weather forecast. We'd suggest comfortable and appropriate footwear, and maybe an umbrella!

We'll finish up for some well-earned refreshments in the CCA, Sauchiehall Street, recently reopened after the devastating fire nearby at the Glasgow School of Art in June. Note that refreshments are not included in the price of the event.

There is likely to be a surprise element to this walk which will be revealed on the day!

All proceed from this event will be donated to our Charity of the Year, Home-Start Glasgow South.

Open to members and non-members alike. Update: Booking closes at 10am on 23rd November.
