For our September event and swib's AGM, we are returning to a firm favourite at House for an Art Lover.
******* Please note that the AGM itself is only open to our members and will commence at 6pm.********
Our main event is open to everyone so please come and join us at 6.30pm for what promises to be an unmissable evening.
In the main hall, we will have representation from swib and several of our partnership groups including Glasgow Chamber of Commerce, and FSB.
We are delighted to announce that we have not one, but two inspirational speakers. For those of you that attended our recent swib awards, you will have heard of our worthy winners. Our speakers are two truly remarkable women, both of who have overcome huge obstacles and amazing challenges in their life's journey. Cor Hutton conquered both physical and mental challenges and is the first female quadruple amputee to conquer Ben Nevis, and was the winner of swib's Connector award. Our Spotlight Award winner is journalist, writer and community leader for Maryhill Integration Network Remzije Sherifi. As if that isn't enough, we will also be presenting our cheque to this year's Charity of the Year, Home Start Glasgow South
We will be dining on
Roasted gammon joint, savoy cabbage, apple compote and a cider sauce
with a vegetarian option of
Open baked puff pastry tartlet of beef tomatoes, mediterranean vegetables and courgettes with smoked brie
followed by everyone's favourite
Sticky toffee pudding, toffee sauce and vanilla ice cream
