March 25, 6:00pm-7:00pm

SWIB Wellbeing sessions are free sessions for all touching on subjects that may help to shape you and promote a healthy work life balance. Each month a guest company will host a 45 minute session.

This months guest host is Anita Douglas, Director of Leading Results.

We will start by establishing what we mean by emotional wellbeing at work, the link to resilience, workplace stress and mental health and the factors that affect wellbeing. We will learn our emotions, the role they play and identify when they are helpful and not helpful.

Topics:

  • Defining stress and resilience
  • Exploring our zone of optimum performance (a reframe of stress)
  • The Threat, Drive and Safe brain – understanding our emotions and mental health
  • Identifying our ‘Threat’ triggers (the behaviour cycle – why we respond the way we do
