Chief Executive.
On leaving university Katie spent 5 years working in professional politics. She began her third sector career at Anthony Nolan leading the regional fundraising team across the UK and then moved to Age Scotland as Head of Charity Services.
In 2016 Katie was appointed as the first woman Chief Executive of Scouts Scotland, a membership organisation of 40,000 young people and 12,000 adult members.
She has recently been appointed by the Scottish Government as a Board Member at Children’s Hearings Scotland and is a Director of the Association of Chief Officers of Scottish Voluntary Organisations and a Fellow of the Royal Society for Arts.
In her spare time, she is an Assistant Beaver and Scout Leader and a Dunfermline Athletic Football Club season ticket holder.
