As we approach the end of 2021, it's time to celebrate with our speaker Vivienne MacLaren, Chair of Scottish Women's Football. Vivienne will be talking about how the hurdles the sport has overcome to get to where they are today and the synergies between success in sport and success in business.

Vivienne is passionate about sport, in particular women’s and girls’ football and has a keen focus on expanding the opportunities available to women and girls to take part in or return to sport. In 2016, Vivienne was appointed Chairperson of Scottish Women’s Football, the independent body that manages the domestic game in Scotland, after joining the main Board in 2014 as media and communications director.

Vivienne led the transformation of the domestic game as a brand, a commercial entity and as an environment in which girls and women can thrive in Scotland. Vivienne is a member of the Scottish Women and Girls in Sport Advisory Board which advises the Scottish Government on developing key strategies towards delivering a robust sporting system which drives participation in sport and physical activity amongst women and girls.

In her day job, she is an award-winning marketing and digital specialist with 25 years’ experience spent in Scotland and London both client and agency side. She is also former MD and founder of an award-winning digital marketing agency, ad tech advisory board member and a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Marketing. Vivienne is currently Head of Marketing for global technology company, Ideagen Plc. She is also Vice President of Giffnock Tennis, Squash and Hockey Club and a volunteer for mental health and wellbeing charity, YAMS.

The event will start with some networking, then move to the ballroom to listen to our speaker and have a buffet lunch.
