My name is Jackie and I live in East Kilbride with my husband Scott, daughter Annabelle, our 2 dogs Jasper and Harley and our budgie Sunny. I’ve been an animal lover all of my life. I remember going to the library as a child and coming out with armfuls of books about dogs. Every year my husband asks me what I want for Christmas and I say a puppy ! I have always had dogs and have brought home a few doggy surprises over the years. I came across Barking Mad when I was looking for care for my own dogs. My dogs are part of my family and when I go on holiday I want them to have a lovely holiday too. That’s why I decided to start my business with Barking Mad.
I have a business degree and have worked in medical sales for 25 years. I’ve helped companies develop their businesses in analgesia, vaccines, female health and nutrition. I sadly lost my Mum recently and it’s made me reassess my life and career. I’ve decided I’d like to grow my own business involving something I am passionate about DOGs.
