For our Autumn training workshop, we are focusing on personal development and in particular how to speak more confidently about your business and yourself. Whether you are a business owner or an employee, whether in enterprise, the charitable sector or professional services this training event should provide you with refreshed skills and knowledge in the art of communication.
Learn how to effectively communicate your skills and your business offer to a range of different audiences, including those in your own industry or sector. You will learn how to apply tools and techniques that support and promote effective communication as well as learning how to explain your business or personal experience in a way that is relevant and compelling.
The workshop will also cover practical and effective techniques to help participants develop the critically important skill of effective networking, eliminating the fear which sometimes prevent people being as effective as they wish.
Leading this workshop will be Alison Gray, founder and director of Skillfluence. Alison has worked for many years in the skills and training sector and specialises in tailoring innovative training programmes. She has studied training design, collaborative leadership and lean start up methodology at leading US universities and has worked with Skills Development Scotland, Scottish Enterprise and Careers Scotland. We look forward to an interesting and dynamic workshop.
Light refreshments including tea, coffee and sandwiches will be provided.
