About Our Speakers:

Mo and Pauline have been at the forefront of raising awareness about menopause within Tesco Bank and Tesco UK since 2019. Their personal experiences with debilitating, undiagnosed menopause symptoms, which nearly cost Mo her job and led Pauline to consider resigning, have fuelled their commitment to educating others about the profound effects menopause can have on both personal and professional lives.

Their efforts have led to significant changes within Tesco, the UK's largest private sector employer, where almost 70% of the workforce is female. Initiatives include the introduction of a Menopause Guide, a Menopause Support network (Hot at Tesco), Line Manager Training, Menopause Friendly Uniforms, a menopause information hub, and a policy ensuring menopause symptoms are not recorded against any absence procedure.

Recognised for their contributions, Mo and Pauline have received several awards, including The Payments Association's Do.Better.Together., Best D&I Initiative. They have represented Tesco at a government round table on menopause and are active members of the No Time To Step Back Working Group.

In addition to their work at Tesco, they have completed extensive CPD accredited training and launched Saorsa Menopause Consultancy in 2020. Saorsa, a social enterprise, delivers Menopause Awareness strategies and training to businesses, supporting vulnerable people and community groups.

Join us for this enlightening session to gain a deeper understanding of menopause and its implications. This event is not just informative but also crucial in breaking down the barriers surrounding this often-taboo subject. Register now to be part of this important conversation.
