Hello! I'm Katharine and I'm an independent travel specialist with the award winning travel company Travel Counsellors.
Travel has always been part of my life. I grew up around it, with family in the industry and the opportunity to travel from a very young age, that sparked a lifelong curiosity about the world. That passion led me to a 25 year career with British Airways, travelling extensively and gaining a deep understanding of what makes a journey special, memorable and worth your time.
Today, as a worldwide tailormade travel specialist with Travel Counsellors, I bring that experience together to design one of a kind, tailor made experiences for busy, discerning clients who want more than a just standard, off the shelf package holiday.
My clients are busy people, juggling demanding jobs and careers, family life and everything in between. They do not want to spend hours of their precious time researching destinations, comparing options or worrying about whether they have made the right choices.
And then there are my clients who are stepping into a new chapter of their life. Gone are the days of the big career; the diary has a bit more space and there's finally the time to focus on those dream trips they've been talking about for years and that they can finally start to enjoy.
The one thing all my clients have in common is they want someone they trust to take care of it all, remove the overwhelm, and help them make the best decisions. And that is exactly what I do.
I take the time to understand how you like to travel, what matters most to you, and what you want to feel from your time away. From there, I create a completely personalised itinerary, carefully curated with the right destinations, hotels and experiences for you.
Beyond the planning, I manage every detail behind the scenes and remain on hand throughout your journey, so you can travel with complete confidence knowing everything is taken care of.
Whether it is a multi centre adventure, a once in a lifetime trip, a luxury villa stay, a cruise, or a carefully planned family holiday, my job is to make the entire process feel easy, considered and genuinely enjoyable.
