The SWIB committee

The SWIB Committee is a dedicated group of volunteer women from across Scotland’s business community, united by a shared commitment to advancing gender equality and creating inclusive spaces where women can thrive.

Each committee member brings a unique blend of skills, experience, sector knowledge, and perspectives, from leaders within established organisations to founders of their own businesses.

This diversity is intentional. It reflects the breadth and vibrancy of Scotland’s business landscape and ensures that SWIB remains relevant, representative, and responsive to the needs of women across the economy.

As the leadership body of a membership organisation, the committee exists to guide SWIB’s purpose, direction, and impact. We shape the programmes, events, and opportunities that support our members, we ensure the organisation stays true to its mission and we act as custodians for the community we serve. Our role is to listen, to represent, and to create value for members by championing their needs and amplifying their voices.

What brings us together is our collective passion: to drive progress, elevate women’s leadership, and foster a supportive, empowering environment for women in business throughout Scotland.
