She is a total people person and loves to build genuine connections with others.

She brings with her over 15 years’ experience in Learning & Development roles working with many different businesses across the UK. Her area of expertise is consultancy, leadership development design and delivery and her services have been recognised in award winning tech businesses, design & event agencies, national hospitality chains, soft drink companies, and multiple charities, and many more.
It is through working with many different sectors and environments that have allowed Katy to develop her creative thinking and is known for pioneering the development of new products and services whilst delivering true tangible results and operational efficiency.
Very focused on the people Katy is supporting and training, she is engaging and can integrate with people within organisations with ease allowing new ideas and ways of working to be welcomed. Very forward-thinking in her approach, Katy has many professional success stories on how she has supported businesses in implementing new methods & ideas to support business growth.
In addition to her professional capacity Katy also takes a voluntary place on the board of a community charity, is our Membership Committee member here a SWIB and is a qualified kids yoga instructor.

Laurie managed teams across Europe during her time working in travel and retail before moving into the employability space in 2015.

Her priority was always on getting the job done, until she undertook her own personal development and leaned how to get under the bonnet of people and teams. She now applies these lessons in her work with a variety of organisations including Connect Three, Skillfluence and The Lens.

Her own business focuses on finding women the jobs that they love at the salary that they deserve and she has mentored hundreds of women to find rewarding, fulfilling work in this way. She also supports programmes such as Business in the Community's Age at Work programme and the Kickstart initiative for young people.

When she is not supporting individuals to love the work that they do and do the work that they love, she is a committee member at SWIB and still spends a lot of time chasing the sun.
